The 2009 NTL All-Star Selections have just been announced. Leading the way for the Hornets are Brandon Bodine (2nd Team Tackle), Ethan Callahan (Honorable Mention Wide Receiver), Ryan Moss (Honorable Mention Versatility Player), and Chase Barnes (Honorable Mention Outside Linebacker).
With a 41-6 rout of Lewisburg, the Loyalsock Lancers are the 2009 District 4 Class AA champions. Loyalsock has won three consecutive post-season crowns (2007 District 4 Class AA and 2008 Eastern Conference) and will advance into the Pennsylvania State Playoffs and take on Lancaster Catholic next Saturday at Shamokin.
After 12 weeks of the 2009 season, it all comes down to one game to decide the District 4 Class AA champion. Loyalsock will face off against Lewisburg for the Class AA championship and a berth in the Pennsylvania state playoffs.

The Canton Warriors' 2009 season has come to an end after falling to Shenandoah Valley, 42-21. With the loss, Muncy and Towanda are the only NTL teams remaining in playoff action.
The first round of the District 4 playoffs are in the books. Towanda defeated Troy 35-7 to advance to the next round of the Class AA playoffs. Athens' season comes to an end at the hands of the Hughesville Spartans. Hughesville will likely face Loyalsock. The Lancers defeated Danvlle 35-3.
The District 4 playoff seedings have just been announced for Round 1. All games will be played on Friday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. with the exception of the Montoursville/Lewisburg game, which will take place on Saturday, November 14 at 2:15 p.m.

The 2009 regular season is in the books, and what a season it was! Towanda remained undefeated after shutting out Wyalusing. Towanda will represent the NTL as the Number 1 seed in the Class AA playoffs.

The Hornets ended the 2009 season after falling to North Penn in Blossburg, 55-0. The Hornets had no answer for North Penn, as the Panthers tallied 466 yards on the ground and 76 through the air for a total of 542 yards.

With only one week left in the 2009 regular season, the playoff picture is almost complete. Towanda remainded undefeated by downing Loyalsock in overtime by the final score of 24-21, North Penn beat Canton on a last second field goal, and Muncy upset Troy by scoring three touchdowns in under eight minutes for the come-from-behind win.
