The Lewisburg Green Dragons have won the 2010 District 4 Class AA football title. Lewisburg knocked off undefeated Danville by the final score of 18-13. The Towanda Black Knights met their match last night as they fell to the Lewisburg Green Dragons, 39-14. With the loss, Towanda ended the 2010 season with an 11-1 record. With the win, Lewisburg improves to 12-0 on the year and will play Danville in the District 4 Class AA Championship game at Danville next Friday night. After two seasons of leading the Hornets, the Wellsboro School District has decided not to retain Brandon Falk as head coach. During his tenure as head coach, Falk accumulated a record of 2-18 overall and 2-8 in the NTL Large School Division.

After the first week of the 2010 District 4 Playoffs, Towanda is the only team from the NTL remaining in play. The Black Knights rolled over the Hughesville Spartans, 56-21, on the backs of Mason Roof and Cody Miller. With the win, Towanda will take on Lewisburg after they pulled out a win over Bloomsburg.
