The Wellsboro boys tennis team continued their win streak as they beat Cowanesque 6-1 Thursday night in Westfield.

"It was a very intense and emotional match for us," Carr said. "Most of us had close first sets but were able to pull away in the second. Drew's win was big for us to clich the match and give us a two-match lead in the NTL."

With the win, the Hornets are now 6-2 (6-0 NTL) on the year. The team will be back in action on Friday, April 5 as they host Williamson.
