Wyalusing wrestlers shut out Wellsboro

The Wellsboro Varsity Wrestling team was shut out 80-0 by Wyalusing on Thursday, December 18.

After three forfeits at 106, 113, and 120 lbs. Freshman Cory Busch was pinned in 35 seconds by Josh Haley. Sophomore Blaze Coolidge was pinned by Creighton Edsell in 1:32 at 138 lbs., Senior Jack Chambers lost by 11-3 major decision to Collin Edsell at 152 lbs., Sophomore Kaleb Smith was pinned in 48 seconds by Dylan Otis at 220 lbs., and Junior Owen Covert lost a 9-1 major decision to Dalton Chilson at 285 lbs.

With the loss, the Hornets fall to 0-2 (0-2 NTL). The team will be back in action on Saturday, December 27 as they participate in the Selinsgrove Tournament.
