Hornet swimmers compete against Sayre, Towanda

Members of the Wellsboro Swim team swam at Sayre against the Redskins and Towanda on Tuesday, January 19.

For the boys, sophomore Connor Brought swam 2:03.57 in the 200 Freestyle and 1:12.5 in the 100 Breaststroke. Junior Nathan Cotner clocked a time of 23:69 in the 50 Freestyle and 5:15.2 in the 500 Freestyle, and junior Devan Warner finished at 27.13 in the 50 Freestyle and 1:00.97 in the 100 Freestyle.

For the girls, sophomore Abby Feil swam 30.27 in the 50 Freestyle and 1:16.06 in the 100 Backstroke, sophomore Grace Feil finished with a time of 29.49 in the 50 Freestyle and 1:25.73 in the 100 Breaststroke, senior Mikayla Feil clocked a time of 26:5 in the 50 Freestyle and 59.09 in the 100 Freestyle, sophomore Kaitlyne Kramer swam 28.62 in the 50 Freestyle and 1:02.46 in the 100 Freestyle, and junior Olivia Kurtz finished in 2:10.22 in the 200 Freestyle and 1:08.65 in the 100 Butterfly.

The team will be back in action on Tuesday, January 26 in Jersey Shore.
