Middle School Volleyball tops Troy

The Wellsboro Middle School Volleyball team defeated Troy 2-0 on Saturday, September 24 to pick up their 5th win of the season.

The A-team won 25-8, 25-16 for their second straight win. Brei Kemp led the team in service with 17 points, 9 of those aces. Chelsie English also contributed with 5 service points, 2 of those aces.

English (1 spike, 2 kills) and Jordan Judlin (2 kills) led the team in hits, Kemp had 5 assists, and Bailey Monks had 3 assists.

The B-team also won 2-0 on the day, 25-11 and 25-17.

The young Lady Hornets are now 5-1 on the year. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 28 against Cowanesque Valley.
