CV edges Wellsboro at Corey Creek.

Wellsboro's Brandyn Tuttle earned medalist honors, but once again it was Cowanesque Valley coming away with the NTL sweep in golf action Tuesday.

The Indians shot 340 while the Hornets were three back at 343.

CV had four players shoot in the 80s despite the rainy, overcast conditions at Corey Creek, led by Tanner Adriance's 80.

Austin Outman shot 85, Kurtis Easton had an 86 and Tyler Vargeson shot an 89 to round out their scorers.

Also for the Indians, Christian Kemp shot 94 and Joel Heck added a 113.

Brandyn Tuttle's 78 was the top score on the day while teammate Ben Barnett carded an 83.

Taynton Reppard shot 88, Ty Morral and Brock Hamblin each shot 94 while Joseph Propheta notched a 99.

Sayre was third with a 368, led by Ryan Murrelle's 80.

Murrelle and Adriance came into the day tied with the lowest average in the league at 78.5 and left the day that way.

Also for the Redskins, Ben Harding shot 93, Gavin Blair added a 96, Nate Sweet carded a 99, James Esposito shot 106 and Nick Allis had 111.

Towanda (381) took fourth led by Tyler Hawley's 92. Connor Wilcox shot a 94, Dawsan Manning had 97, Bob Farley had 98, Kourtney Dunn shot 100 and Jon Hoffman had 108.

North Penn-Mansfield and Athens tied at 396 with the Tigers getting the win thanks to the lower fifth score, 94-131.

Andrew Everetts led NPM with a 93 while Reece White shot 97. R.J. Farrell shot 102, Ethan Weiskopff carded 104, Curtis Craig shot 112 and Katrina Toth-Penner added a 116.

Nate Kennedy's 92 led the Wildcats while Dylan Krise shot 94. Brady Smith had 104, Anthony Peterson shot 106, Aiden Westbrook had 131 and Ben Ellis shot 138.

Troy's Hayden Dewey shot 97 on the day.

In 9-hole exhibition action, CV's Josh Whalen shot 52 with teammate Skylar Smith carding a 56, Sayre's Garrett Osman shot a 57, Athens' Justin Lynch shot 58, NP-Mansfield's had 61 and Wellsboro's Frank Kewitt carded a 63.

The NTL comes to Towanda Country Club next Tuesday.
