NP-Liberty earns two tennis wins.

North Penn-Liberty took two victories over Galeton and Cowanesque Valley on Monday afternoon, improving their record to 5-4.

NPL took on Galeton first, beating them 6-1.

In first singles, Jonathon Nelson beat Joel Brelo 6-1 and 6-2. In second singles Zach Fetzer beat Kyle Burrous in two sets 6-2 and 6-0. In third singles, Zach Roupp beat Tanner Hall in two sets 6-0 and 6-3. NPL took the victory in fourth and fifth singles by default.

In first doubles, Galeton's Joel Brelo and Kyle Burrous beat Casey Amaral and River Hicks-Lee 6-2 and 6-1. NPL won in second doubles by default.

In their second match, NPL took on CV, beating them 5-2.

In first singles, Jonathon Nelson beat Sterling Jolly in two sets by a score of 6-1 in both. In second singles, Zach Fetzer beat Logan Dibble in two sets, 6-1 and 6-2. In third singles, CV's Arch Ackley beat Zach Roupp 6-2 and 6-3. In fourth singles, Casey Amaral beat Kenny Watterson in two sets by a score of 6-0 in both. In the final singles match, River Hicks-Lee defeated Jackson Pritchard in two sets, 6-0 and 6-2.

In first doubles, Patric Shon and Casey Amaral beat Sterling Jolly and Kenny Watterson in two sets, 6-4 and 7-6 (9-7). In second doubles CV's Sterling Jolly and Logan Dibble beat Nick Lowry and Logan Horsley 6-0 and 6-2

Notre Dame 4, Horseheads 3

Horseheads' Cameron McGary defeated ND's Jack Kaffenbarger in three sets 6-2, 4-6, and 6-1. In second singles, Horseheads' Kevin Reasons defeated Derek Tsang in three sets, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2, and 10-3. In third singles, ND's Pat Finnerty beat Christian McGary 3-6, 7-5, and 7-5. In fourth singles, ND's Mitch Vargas beat Ronald Harshbarger 6-2 and 6-4.

In first doubles, Horseheads' Ian Aepelbacher and Evan Zhou beat Victor John Booth in two sets, by a score of 6-3 in both. In second doubles, ND's Andrew Finnerty and Yoseph Tavakoli beat Andrew Sovik and Alexander Coble in three sets 6-4, 4-6, and 6-1. ND claimed a team win in the final doubles match as Brandon Sun and Zack Tavakoli beat Jonathan Lee and Jacob Guillemette 6-3 and 7-6 (7-2).
